It was enough of an answer for Poe, hand sliding from Michael's hip up over his belly and settling against his chest, keeping him close and humming contentedly at the heat of his skin and the way he could feel Michael's heartbeat thudding away against his hand. It would settle again soon enough so Poe wasn't overly concerned.
He also couldn't resist pressing another brief kiss to the mark he'd left, quick and light, knowing the spot would be sensitive as anything else at the moment.
Michael focused on Poe's hand. It helped draw him clear of some of the haze that was still settled over him. He knew his heart was racing as the other's hand pressed over it. He shivered as the other pressed a kiss to the mark.
He eventually shifted as his heartrate started to slow to something like normal, but each shift had a shiver going through him still being tied to Poe. His hand went to cover Poe's hand.
"Poe," he mumbled, nuzzling back into him all the same. Every muscle felt heavy and his body felt overstimulated and that probably was going to get worse before it got better.
He just made a curious sound of acknowledgement in response, having already begun to doze, if lightly, just needing the recharge.
He wasn't sure if it had been meant as a question or just a statement in and of itself, but it also didn't much matter either way, it wasn't like he was going anywhere, and if Michael actually needed something he'd definitely help. As soon as he was able to actually move again.
Michael can't honestly say for sure which it was either just the other's name on his lips is probably enough of anything, though. He's still exhausted, finding it difficult to think straight.
He can feel Poe relaxing, starting to fall asleep most likely and he's sure to do the same.
When there was no further response he just made another soft sound, likely agreement as much as anything else, settling in and brushing another fleeting kiss against Michael's nape.
They were a mess, as was the blanket, but that was a problem to worry about later, because right now, even with the familiar prickle of sweat drying on his skin, he was comfortable and not planning on thinking about anything that was more than a few hours in the future.
Michael is too exhausted to really even shiver at the kiss to his nape. He fell asleep before long. They were a mess. Michael already felt stickier and he'd wake up feeling grimy but it would be hard to get out of bed still, although he's sure that Poe will try to make him eat.
Either way, he'll sleep, with their bodies still connected, his own already overstimulated and sleep would only do so much about that.
Poe would definitely make sure he ate something, if only because Poe was going to need something as well before long because he always forgot until they were in the thick of it just how much energy marathon sex burned.
It also meant he would probably have to at least put on pants to go pick up doughnuts or something, but that was another concern for later. His arm finally relaxed a little, still curled around Michael's torso, keeping him close but not clinging to him like he had been. It was likely the only clear indication that he'd actually dropped off to sleep.
