"Simon," Alex just says quickly, but there's a bit of desperation in her tone as she steps into his room. As soon as he closes the door, she flings her sleeves back in order to expose the glowing in her hands. "I have no idea what the fuck is going on but this just started when I woke up and I wasn't even doing anything!"
The light in them is golden, and seems to be emanating from her palms. "I was literally just sleeping. Not doing dumb things where I was reading anything. Just. Sleeping." Because she knows how he feels about her reading (and doing) stupid things.
