"You should be the one to approach Ubbe. He's liable to listen to anything you have to say right now." Perhaps he was still feeling nervous or sorry for Sigurd since he'd come so close to losing his life. They could use such sentiment to their advantage.
Sigurd looks amused and he nods in agreement. He can't exactly argue or defend Hvitserk there, the other had never been particularly smart and he was good at following what he's told to do really. He'd never had his own ideas about almost anything.
