“That’s more because I don’t want to sleep without you tonight...” Gar says, tilting his head again back to look forward.

“You’re already having to buy pajamas.”

"Well, I definitely want to snuggle right up against you, so that works."

[garrrr]

Gar grins a little. "So you're going to let me buy dinner?"

[hybrid_prince]

"Well... I suppose so," Teddy allows at last. "But I get to buy breakfast."

[garrrr]

"I think I can live with that."

Gar glances up at him briefly again.

"How are you so..." He almost says perfect but he doesn't think Teddy likes that. "Good."

[hybrid_prince]

Yeah, don't even call him perfect. Because if Gar did, Teddy would cringe.

"I've got practice at being kind."

[garrrr]

"Still," Gar smiles and nuzzles his arm.

[hybrid_prince]

"That isn't going to change, Gar. I'm always going to be kind and as gentle as I can be."

Gar nods and he can believe that easily. He still feels a little bit off after this entire experience.

"What do you want for dinner?"

[hybrid_prince]

"Would you be down for something like chinese take-out? That's something we can go back and eat while cuddling."

And after their recent argument... he could REALLY use some serious snuggle time.

[garrrr]

"Yeah, that's totally okay," Gar agrees quickly. He'd really rather be able to cuddle him sooner rather than later.

[hybrid_prince]

"So, clothes first and then food?"

[garrrr]

"Yeah," Gar says. "Think we're almost there."
