[ It's been a while now, since that cop bitch took Jinx's sister and stole her back to Piltover. As if Jinx didn't have enough reasons to hate the shining metropolis. But, a few months have passed, enough for tempers to cool to only a simmer, enough for Jinx to take over Silco's old connections in the undercity, enough for Vi to get herself a nice little place in Piltover. It's quaint, in an overly-polished and pretty way, Jinx thinks as she slips in through the window one night. She can see the little ways Vi has taken the prim and proper, cutesy decor that the place probably came with, and dirtied it up a little to make it more homely.
She sits down in the biggest chair in the living room and puts her feet up, waiting in the darkness for her sister to get home. ]
[ It doesn't take but a split second for Vi to sense something's different when she enters the apartment. There's a tiredness that's weighing on her, shoulders dropped now that no one's around -- or wouldn't have been around to put on a front for. She's not particularly happy about joining the enforcers but with Caitlyn they'd been able to make some changes and the whole situation is still difficult given everything that's happened.
Still the last thing she expects the light comes on is to see Powder... Jinx. She stares at her, brow furrowing. ]
[ Even before the light comes on, Jinx's violet eyes seem to glow in the dark, seeing everything... She sees the way Vi's shoulders sink, like they always used to after a long day shouldering the weight of everyone's responsibilities. After shouldering the weight of Powder's mistakes.
What is she doing here? What is she doing here? Why did she come and wait for her sister in the dark, all alone? Why aren't they off somewhere, together? The way they should be. ]
