[Elliot had looked over the texts more than a few times on his way over to Judy's place. He wasn't sure how he'd missed all the previous indicators. She'd actually made it pretty clear she was interested in him but he'd brushed it all off and well she hadn't said it bluntly so he'd always...

It didn't much matter now. She knew how he felt and he knew how she felt and he was going over to her place to kiss her.

He walked up the door that was hers, knocking lightly on it and pulling at the string of his hood in a nervous tic.]

[ She probably should have just said right out how she felt, but Elliot was so hard to read that she had lost her nerve time and time again until she finally managed to work up the courage to just straight up ask for what she wanted.

And there he was, knocking on her door.

Yes, she was very nervous, but she still managed to smile at him like he had given her the greatest gift ever just by showing up.

Easily done, really, since it was entirely true. ]

Hi. [Elliot dropped his hand away from the hoodie string, his hands going into the front pocket of the hoodie instead. He really has a knack for being awkward when there was no reason for him to be awkward.]

[ Elliot wouldn't be Elliot if he wasn't awkward, so that was alright. Judy reached out to lightly grab hold of his hoodie to tug him through the door, her smile turning a little playful. ]

Are you as nervous as I am?

[Elliot let her pull him inside, and it was an easy guess that he was probably at least as nervous as she was.]

I think so.

[He paused, rubbing the back of his head.]

Maybe a little more, even.

What are you worried about?

[ That she won't like kissing him? She's pretty sure that she will. She likes him after all. As in, like likes. How was it he described it? The kind of way that is just for him. ]

[Elliot tilts his head at the question. He's not particularly good at talking about his feelings. Even when he goes to therapy he ends up learning more about his doctor than they ever learn about him.

So he doesn't answer, not really, and instead he reaches to pull her close, tilting his head down to press his lips softly to hers in the long awaited and promised kiss.]

[ She has to get up on the tips of her toes to manage meeting him halfway, but it's well worth it.

She wraps her arms around his neck and leans into him for a bit of support, head tilting a bit more to the side to fit their mouths together a bit better. ]

[His hands rest on her waist as he kisses her, the soft adjustments at the beginning to make it better, comfortable. He'd imagined kissing her a lot by this time but he'd always been holding back, so now he lets it linger. One of his hands sliding to the small of her back. There's no urgency to the kiss for him just a simple enjoyment at it finally happening.

He pulls back finally his other hand moving from her side to touch her cheek gently.]

[ If she's looking a little smitten at this point it's because she totally is, and the smile she gives him is absolutely of the goofy variety. ]

I know it's a totally cliché thing to say, but that was a lot nicer than I imagined it would be.

[ Elliot can't help but smile back at her. It's not quite goofy or big, just a small smile. He doesn't mind the cliche, not with her. ]

Really?

Mhm. I mean I thought it would be nice, but... yeah, still better.

[ She's not really sure where they should go from here, but that's okay. ]
