Meeting the prince, the scorpion king is not particularly a wise choice for Huaisang. Mingjue would be furious if he is ever to find out... but Huaisang can be sneaky when he wanted to be. He's clever and smart -- he's also just lazy and prefers the luxuries of life to other things his brother believes should be prioritized.
It's with a thrill that he arrives at the other's door and knocks. He always knows there is a certain kind of danger in coming here, especially a lone, even if the other is a friend.
The door is answered by a servant and Huaisang is led to Xie's chambers. All of the doors are shut and locked in their wake. Reclining on a golden couch, the Scorpion King is dressed scandalously - wearing only a thin, azure blue robe. He smiles at the sight of Huaisang and motions him over.
"We can move to the bed in time. First, have some wine."
Huaisang greets the servant with politeness and follows to Xie's chambers. His eyes are instantly drawn to the other man, beautiful and delicious in such a robe on a golden couch that appealed to Huaisang's taste in both people and things. Huaisang has dressed typically in his Nie robes and there's not a moment's hesitation in joining the other.
"I can always assume the best from you," Huaisang smiles demurely and he's more than happy to start with wine.
Xie pulls Huaisang close the moment he is within reach, settling the man against him. They should recline while they drink; the couch demands it! He pours the youngest Nie a cup of wine and playfully presses it to Huaisang's lips.
"Do you smell the flowers? I prefer a bouquet of flavors and this one offers an after-flavor of honey."
Nie Huaisang comfortably settles onto the couch and he inhales as the cup is pressed to his lips. Others might hesitate to take a drink from an assassin but Huaisang doesn't. Prince Xie holds no ill intentions toward him he's certain of that.
So he takes a sip as the other holds the cup then raises his hand to take it, hand brushing over the other's in a lingering caress.
