Hanamaki’s cheeks feel a bit warmer and he glances around before picking out another stall to stop at. “You don’t gotta work that hard to get in my pants,” he leaned to murmur in Osamu’s ear quickly.

Osamu grinned and turned his head to kiss Hanamaki softly. "I know, but I think you're worth some effort." He looked back the truck they stopped in front of. "This is a good one," he said.

Hanamaki feels a bit of a flutter at not just the kiss but Osamu’s words. Dammit. He exhales as and glances at the stall again. “You make it really hard to concentrate on the food.”

"That so?" Osamu asked, trying not to look too smug. "Well, if it gets too hard to focus on food, we could skip to the exercise portion of the night."

"That's really, really tempting," Hanamaki laughs, glancing at Osamu again. It's not like he's starving after all, at this point anything he eats is kind of overeating.

Osamu hummed. "How about we go say our prayers, get our fortunes and head back to my place then?" he asked.

Hanamaki grins at the other being just as easily swayed as he is himself. "Sounds like the perfect plan."

Stepping out of line, Osamu guided Hanamaki up towards the shrine. "Any particular prayers you got this year?" he asked.

"It's a secret," Hanamaki chuckles. There's a few things on his mind. "Though, I do pray for your continued success~."

"Thank you, mine's mostly the same," he said as they began to climb up the stairs up the shrine.

"I pray for you too," he said. "And for my brother." He paused, looked at Hanamaki. "You remember that little redhead? Hinata. 'Tsumu's crazy for him. But he's more into Kageyama than my brother, so I pray for him to find happiness and stop moping over him."

"Those are all good prayers," Hanamaki says, his expression both amused and thoughtful. He's quiet for a bit as they climb. He wonders if he should disclose more of his own but he shies away from it at least this year. Maybe... if next year they come again ... well that's just getting ahead of himself isn't it.

Just a little bit, but Osamu is kind of thinking along those lines. He just clicks with Hanamaki.

He walks over to the stand, hands over the omamori he got last year and buys a new, then moves over to the next stall to write his wishes for the next year on the traditional paper. 'Good fortune for my business and for my brother'

Once it's dry, he twists it up and waits for Hanamaki to finish up and join him to tie their prayers to the tree.

Hanamaki thoughtfully goes through the ritual on his own. His prayer written with hope for the future, though, he'd never put too much stock in all this but it is good to set the intention for the year he thinks. Success and happiness. He smiles to himself as they go to tie their prayers.

He glances over at Osamu as they finish.

"Ready to go?"

"I am," he said, stepping up to him and taking his hand, intertwining their fingers. "Though not sure I can wait until we get home," he teased.

"You sound like a teenager," Hanamaki teases, the other's hand warm where their fingers slot together. It feels nice just to do something like that. Maybe he's really been more lonely than he's realized.

The human contact is nice. He's missed this. It had been too long since he just held another guy's hand. Such a simple thing, and yet, so grounding. "C'mon, you can't tell me you haven't been fantasying about me any less than I have about you."

"I can't," Hanamaki laughs and squeezes his hand. "But have you fantasized enough to find some place between here and home?"
