Once again, the Miya twins had gotten into a fight, not a major one as they hadn't come to blows, but one that caused enough of a disruption that they had been given laps and done clean-up. Tension was still there, simmering off of each other as they showered, a single shower head between them, bodies angled away from each other, pointedly ignoring each other as they washed up.

The fight had started as most Miya fights did; Atsumu running his mouth, picking at some particular spot until Osamu's temper finally gave out. Both turned when they heard someone walk in, eyes locked on their captain. It was a poorly kept secret that they were both crushing on Kita. Yet, despite all the other things that made the two of them fight, this fact was something that inspired some measure of solidarity between them. Though neither was above trying to show off for Kita and outdo the other.

"Hey Kita-san!" Atsumu said, preening as he washed the muscles of his chest, angling ever so slightly to show off his pecs. "Didn't know you were still here."

Kita generally tries to be the last to leave, to make sure everything is cleaned up correctly and ready for the next day. And also today maybe to keep an eye on the twins even if it's not particularly necessary. Now, he can get ready to leave himself. His eyes are drawn to Atsumu first when he calls out. Kita smothers a smile at the twins’ antics. He does need a shower… quietly he prepares himself for his shower and then goes to the empty spot between the twins.

At first, Erwin is sceptical of the rumors. Thugs in the Underground, stealing military equipment? Unlikely, but possible. Said thugs learning to operate it flawlessly by themselves, however?..

And yet, the proof keeps piling up. The MPs keep getting bested, the crimes skyrocket, and there's nothing anybody can really do about it. Nile's commander is practically begging Shadis to lend some of his more experienced soldiers to take care of the problem, but of course, the moment Erwin hears about it, he sees an opportunity and convinces the old man to put him in charge of the operation. He takes a few trusted companions, disguises himself, and descends into hell on earth to scout it out.

The first time he sees the trio fly through the cavern like trapped falcons, it takes his breath away. He must have them -- especially their leader, who dances through the air as if he has wings sprouting out of his own back.

However, there may be a complication, Mike informs him. One of them scents as an omega, and while the Military Police had begrudgingly agreed not to persecute the gang for their crimes as long as they join the military... well. Omegas can't join the military, and Erwin is nowhere near high enough up the hierarchy to change that. Not yet, anyway.

He is, however, an alpha with a military rank and therefore entitled to claim any omega he desires as his mate. Then, technically, he's allowed to do anything with them -- in the eyes of law, they're little more than property, and while he has opinions about it this might just be the loophole he needs this time -- even order them to ride beside him in battle.

But he has to be sure.

As their little excursion finally culminates with the little thieves restrained and on their knees, spitting out their names, their identities sniffed out -- the girl is an alpha and the blond guy a beta, meaning as long as they don't prefer the gallows the Survey Corps can legally recruit them no problem -- he's sure. The little surly omega has to be the most talented flier he has ever seen, even when faced against veteran scouts -- something that will cause much grumbling, Erwin is certain, but he cares little for alphas' bruised egos in the face of the threat to humanity -- and if they have him, they might just be able to turn the tide.

He's already worth it.

Erwin kneels in front of him, not caring about the mud, fascinated by the glare of absolute murder he's getting. Ah, Mike being rough with him probably didn't help. Nonetheless, Erwin is intrigued. Will he bite? Even if he takes his deal, will he perhaps look for a way to kill him and escape?

The thought excites him more than he cares to admit. He does his best to keep his expression neutral.

"Levi," he says, startling blue eyes fixing on stormy gray, "I have a deal for you."

Levi is dirty and angry. He's also well aware that his position is probably the most dangerous at this moment. It would probably always be the most dangerous. As an omega in the Underground he'd already been in countless unsavory positions and he hadn't always been able to fight his way out of them. This is another one, and he is even now looking for an opportunity to attack but there aren't any openings.

He doesn't say anything, just glares at the man. What deal could he have? It's not likely to be anything that Levi actually wants but he's well aware that he might not have a choice in the circumstances. He does nothing to hide his disgust and irritation.

Ah. No response. That's too bad; Erwin would like to hear the man's voice, to let him be an active participant in this. Well, maybe he'll say something once he hears what Erwin's actual plan is. He imagines he won't be pleased with it; the alternatives are simply worse.

"You've gotten quite infamous, Levi," he starts; there's no mockery in his tone however. In fact, it almost sounds impressed. "That said, your criminal career ends right here. You and your friends have two choices; you may join the Survey Corps and fight for us, starting off with a clean record, or you may refuse. In that case, we will hand you over to the Military Police, though I can't imagine they will be lenient about your crimes."

It's not really a choice. The latter option would spell gallows for all three of them -- or, perhaps, something even worse for Levi specifically, considering his type and the ideas people this far inside the walls had about rehabilitating straying omegas. Nonetheless, Erwin wants to wrench that confirmation of cooperation from him anyway. Whether or not he honors it, he will not be able to say he was forced into this.

"Regretfully, as you're aware, your type is not allowed to join the military. However, we have worked out a solution."

He can't officially be offered the same choice as the other two, but Erwin is nothing if not persistent, and with enough nights spent with his nose buried in books, he'd found just the loophole he needed.

"I, Erwin Smith, would take you, Levi, as my official mate. As such, you would have full access to our equipment and facilities like everyone else, and accompany me on expeditions should I request it."

Considering the society treated omegas as second class citizens at best, an alpha would definitely be within his rights to order them to die if they decided so. The law would allow Levi to participate in the scouts' activities, even if his gear would have to come as courtesy from Erwin. It's one he fully intends to extend, of course. It's odd for someone else to be in the Slipher showers at this time of the evening. He handed Hanamaki a pamphlet with a list of food trucks. "They got a kappa themed truck I wanna check out, but other than that I'm open to anything. Just be prepared for a wide range of talent."

He stands up and starts saying the goodbyes he wouldn't be able to get away with skipping but skirts around running into Hinata knowing he'd try and thwart his escape. Soon enough he's out in the fresh hair, pressing his hand to his forehead and swearing under his breath.

Not soon after Oikawa finds himself shoved out the door after Kageyama, with Hinata cheerfully promising to pay for his drinks.
