Kageyama can't even really deny that. They're either about Oikawa, volleyball or both together most of the time.

Kageyama pulls back, but just a little, not dropping his arms immediately. Kageyama nods. Communication isn’t his strong suit but he’s been working on that for years. On the court he’s pretty good but his personal life is relatively small and simple. He’s never had the test of a romantic relationship. The only person he’s ever wanted and loved is Oikawa.

“It’s always been you, though,” Kageyama murmurs and it feels like some dumb thing from a romance movie or something. He relishes the soft affection he’s getting now.

“Let’s finish. We should sleep.”

Oikawa kissed Kageyama's forehead. "We'll make do," he promised.
